Clicking on Link to .MPG File Will Not Open It30 Nov 2005 18:47 GMT3
Running IE 6.0 under WIN2000.  In the past if I clicked on link to an
.mpg file the file would automatically download and launch.  Now all of
a sudden I get "Page Cannot be Displayed" messages.  I cannot right
click and open it or open it in another window.  However, I can do a

After scraping a betterinternet infection off my bro-in-law's win2k pro
box, I'm unable to get IE to work.  IE comes up to an about:blank page.
When I navigate off of it, the internet connection wizard pops.  I try

This is a question I'm posting here as it seems the best place to ask.
Ideally, I expect an "Internet Explorer 7/Vista" group to have been set up by
now.
Anyway, the question is of installation and distribution. I notice that

For reasons I do not know, the old CTRL+ENTER keyboard shortcut which used to
add the http://www.  and a .com on the end of anything you'd type into the
navigation bar, now takes me to the MSN search page which is useless and
annoying.
