I recently was infected by some malicious software.  I think I've got it
removed with Microsoft Antispyware.  However my toolbar still cannot be
unlocked for some reason.   When I right-click on the toolbar, the entire
list is just greyed out and there is not "unlock toolbar" ...

My IE just got "raped" by the systemwarming.com!! It somehow forces me to
use it as the homepage even after I ahve tried to reset it a few times and to

Does anyone know how to configure Internet Explorer to show full drop down
menus without first displaying only the most recently used items?  I know how
to do this in Outlook and Word (View/Toolbars/Customize/"Always show full
menus"), but Internet Explorer does not seem to offer ...

I selected the Full Screen option under the "View" option on the top menu
bar.  I've now lost the top menu bar and cannot figure out how to revert back
to where the bar is visable.

I am trying to upgrade from 5.0 to 6.0 on a Windows 98 machine.  Upgrade
crashed part way through the upgrade.  Now I continually get the message "a
previous installation has pending work requiring a reboot.  You need to
restart your computer before running Internet Explorer ...

problems with software requiring IE. An attempt to uninstall failed because

it was perfectly ok! note pad would open with the code showing
