How do I setup IE6 to open more than one browser window at at time

I keep thinking I know the answer to my own question, but old age is hell...I
have IE 6.0 on a Dell Dimension 4600 with 1.5Mb DSL. Seems like when I used
to move from URL to URL, I could always come back via the <Back> button. Now,
more often than not, going to a new URL cuts off ...

The whole 'great' thing about newer versions of windows was supposed to be
that one crashing app didn't impact anything else, but this doesn't seem to
work very well with IE.
If one of my IE windows crashes it takes out all of the other IE windows

My IE6 is becoming more and more unstable with no obvious cause.  With any
other app I would uninstall and reinstall it, but this doesn't seem to be an
option. I can't even seem to get it to 'overwrite' the current install by
re-running IE setup as it seems to recognise it's already ...

I updated long ago from IE5 to IE6 offline, but don't remember how to do it.  
The laptop I am updating can only connect to the internet via a dial-up modem
so I don't want to update via the automatic updater.  I downloaded IE6 and
have all the cab's and the installer program ...

We downloaded IE 6.0 SP1 but it will not install. We don't get an error
message, but it says that "The installation could not be completed please
close all other applications and try setup again." We click the help button
and it says "you seem to have the correct setup files but ...

After doing the last Windows Upgrade (20 odd MB), IE 6 opens in a small
window as does other web pages I view.  According to the IE Help, you can fix
this by (I copy):

My IE6 locks up constantly.  When I try to send the error report, sometimes
it won't go through.  It just keeps sending ,but never completes.  At other
times it will complete and tell me to go to the site to download updates.

how do I stop IE from storing my credit card info?  or delete it once it is
stored?

Hi there.I am using IE 6.0.2900.2180 with Win xp pro sp2.
I cannot save mht files..because they dont show up in saving dialogue.
just 2 type of saving options html and txt. and html does not save images
with that too. please help me. I love that feature (mht) and wanna use it .

For some reason which I don't know after several months of being able to
download pdf files from a URL, I now get the page that gives me all kinds of
instructions to make it work and when I do all that it doesn't work.
There must be a setting in the firewall or the virus blocker ...

For the last several years we have used IEAK 5.5 and 6.0 to configure our IE.
We want to abandon this setup and change over to a GPO. Here is my question.
