I recently had to wipe my hard drive and reinstall everything.  All seems as
it was before, except for one pesky behavior.  Previously, one coud open
multiple copies of Internet Explorer, with the previous windows minimized.

When I click on any pdf file link on a webpage, it starts to load, opens
Acrobat reader but ends up with a "...encountered error. Acrobat Reader will
be closed..." This happens all the time when I try the same thing.
If I do 'Save Target As' and then start loading it works fine.

I have had this setting in place, and it was lost when I downloaded some
software.  Cannot find it to allow again.  Any idea where it is?  Can't find
it in tools - options.  Now, when I click on the IE icon a second time, I
don't get a second window.

I am unable to delete 2 addresses from my address bar. I've deleted files,
cookies and cleared history many times and run Win Cleaner routinely yet
these addresses remain.  Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I try to open internet explorer icon and it prompts me to choose the program
you want to use to open this file.  It has a list of programs for me to
choose from.

I have a problem accesing the internet from my desktop. I used to click the
IE shortcut and it would take me to a dial up network connection box to
proceed.  Now if I click on the IE shortcut from my desktop it goes to a
blank IE page and the egg timer cursor - and then nothing ...

Repairing IE6 install after uninstalling IE7 beta 219 Feb 2006 04:33 GMT2
I'm running Windows XP SP2.
When I tried to install the IE7 beta release, the only useful thing it
seemed to accomplish was breaking IE altogether. IE6 still launched, except
it was completely crippled, and complained of missing DLL's and the like
