I'm UPGRADING my Explorer from 6 to 7.  I downloaded the exe command but when
I go to install it...it gives me an error:
"Set up couldn't verify the integrity of the files needed for installation.  
Make sure cryptographic services ais running on this computer."  HOW do I get

when I first opened IE6 browser I was able to open new tabs, by mistake I
cancelled all tabs, how can I set it up so tabs can be used again?

I want to restore IE6 as my default browser.    I have checked the box which
tells it to ask but nothing is happening.
Is there something I have to change in the registry ?
At present my default browser is firefox.

I am getting an error "internet explorer has encounted an error and will shut
down".  And message asking if I want to send a report or not.
What would cause this?

This feature used to work on my Media Center HP .... After doing a system
recovery, everything seems fine except that now when I open windows using my
desktop shortcuts, the new window opens behind other open windows.  The

Every time I try to open a new window (whether by right-clicking or by using
the new window command) the old window keeps closing. Is there somewhere to
tell IE6 to keep old windows open?

My husband  (and ONLY my husband - out of 6 total users) logged onto the
computer just the other day and cannot get to different internet sites via
the address bar. He CAN get there indirectly by using the "Search for" bar in
