I have a new Dell computer.  When I type a URL in the address line, and click
go, it goes nowhere.  Nothing happens.  I called Dell once and they had be
reset the defaults and it worked for about a day and a half, then quit
working again.  Anyone know what to do to fix?

I am having issues with finding files that I downloaded both with IE6
and with IE7 and only via http/ftp downloads. I can download find via
http if I install Opera browser (which I have to download via an ftp
client).   I get the download box for location, I get the run or save

MSIE9 SP2, WinXP - has stopped making a little sound when a link is clicked.
Any idea how I can turn it back on?

A Problem:
Currently on a large hospital network.  Virtually everyone has internet
access and uses IE periodically.  Question:  is there any way that IE
require that people log back on or refresh IE every x number of minutes?

downloaded ie7 with " Update" ; However, I do not have a MS toolbar. all
that I have at the top is The Google Toolbar--which is of no help. I don't
have File, edit,view , etc---I have XP HOME
Please can some one offer a fix to get the Microsoft Toolbar back.

Is there anyway to tweak IE7 so that, if I type in a webpage that it
can't find, it doesn't pass on what I typed in to a search engine?
Cool feature I guess, but if I wanted it searched for, I'd search for
it myself - I'd prefer the "Page Not Found" in some cases.
