Having had a recent reinstall of windows 98 se , running internet explorer version 6 I find when viewing web pages that the image appears to contain only a limited amount of the web page, ie I have to scroll down to view the whole page.

I use IE 6 on a laptop. Many times I find a web site which contains links (in blue) to other sites. Mostly these links do not take me to the new site when I click on them. I suspect I have IE 6 configured wrongly. Can anyone help me make these links work?

IE7 will start with NO ADD-ONS, but hangs and uses 99% CPU trying to connect with add-ons. Norton antivurus (ran full virus scan), Spywareblaster and Adaware up to date. Any thoughts appreciated.
