When spawning a new browser window (IE6) from a URL in an email, document or
even right click on a URL in an open browser page (Open in new window) - the
page now opens in a minmised view. Becomes very tiresome having to maximise

Previously with IE5.5 I had a link

IE7 was automatically downloaded to my XP system a few months ago. However,
I find it very un-user friendly (especially with regards to finding/saving
favorites) so want to reinstall IE6.

I want Windows Media Player to play mp3 files on websites (in a new window).
But instead, I have QuickTime doing it.
How can I change to have WMP play mp3's?

I was using IE7 with no problems up to about 3 months ago. All of a sudden,
no sites would "remember me", I have no history "before today" and I could
not "netfile" with Quicktax. I was told by a friend to uninstall IE7 and use
IE6. When I did this, "remember me" worked again ...

This is a tough one. I installed IE 7.0.5730.11 after uninstalling 6.0
Now I can't get any site that extracts cookies. No biggy, right?
I go to TOOLS > INTERNET OPTIONS and..........

version. I just enabled IIS on my laptop with WinXP SP2 using the defaults.
