I just bought new laptop. IE browser was working just fine for couple days
now it wont connect me to a web page, though I still have internet
connection. Ive been reading numerous postings about problems with IE 7. How
do I even know if I have IE 7. I considered reseting internet ...

My IE7 randomly generates a pop-up window with the message Failure to connect
to web server. This doesn't effect the page I was working on but I have to
close that generated window to get back to where I was. Is there anything I
can do to get this to stop happening?

I have one website that never makes it to a Tab but instead opens a separate
window of it's own. Other website will be on a Tab of the same browser. What
to do about this website opens  up a new window?

OS: Visa Business and IE 7.0
Problem: Everytime I try to drag a URL to the desktop, it creates a generic
looking icon without the destination URL address.  I have disable the virus

ie6 sudenly started to open incomplete pages no banners and menus all mixed
up one in the top of another so i upgraded to ie7 ..first time i opoen it it

I am seriously in need of advice to the following IE7 problems:
a. All toolbars missing.
b. The "Favourites", "View", "Tools" etc tabs are also missing.
c. The right mouse click and the "Del" key on the keyboard are out of

Affects IE6, IE7, Windows Mail, Outlook Express and Outlook. Glad I use
Fire Fox and Thunder Bird.

Whenever I go to close the IE7 page, it goes blank, stops and then I receive
a message stating IE has experienced a problem and must close. It then stalls
and subsequently closes.

When I save a url to Favorites, then send the url to my desktop as a

Ever since I bought this new HP laptop running Vista Home Premium I get an IE
7 runtime error EVERY OTHER TIME I BOOT UP.  I simply re-boot an dthe problem
is gone, then next time I start up I get the error and IE7 won't start.  Has

I actually have 2 problems with IE7.
1.  I have an extensive list of favourites and whenever I try to add a new
