I get the above heading and a fix button, which when pressed, gives a box that tells me that "A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available"

Have a PC XPHome, they tried to update to IE7 and it will not go anywhere beyond the home page. No typed address work etc. IE7 is not listed under control panel add remove programs either, to roll back to IE6

Hi I have tried all the solutions on here that relate to the Red X Box's apearing i Internet Explorer 7. I do not have this issue with my XP only on a New Lap top already configured ( just out of the box 3 Weeks ) with Windows Vista.

So, i've seen a couple other people who first have internet explorer ask if its alright to install the activex control, and so do i. if ie7 was nice, it would just do it, but for some reason, it sends me the bar saying 'your security settings do not allow websites to use ActiveX ...
