I have been having similar problems to some items posted here regarding
IE7 and connecting to the internet on a Windows XP PC.  I have Norton
Firewall installed and if I disable the firewall the connection works.  As
soon as the firewall is switched back on the problem returns.

as IE was connecting me to the internet, that little box popped up that ask
me if I wanted IE to connect to the internet.  I accidentally clicked no.

I'm having some kind of random issue between Internet Explorer 7 and Dr.
Watson.  From time to time, when I change sites it quits.

When I try to open internet shortcuts in IE7 I get the "Internet Explorer
cannot display the webpage" error message and am unable to load any web
pages.  If I close IE7 and try to open the address manually it works, as do
subsequent internet shortcuts.

When I save a page in my favourites it will not show up in IE7.  When I try
