Good Evening,
When I try to open IE7 and I keep getting the following error message:
Internet Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close.  We
are sorry for the inconvenience.
Sort of involved - IE 7 issues with "sub-logons" in XP18 Jun 2007 18:12 GMT1
Ok, recently did some updating to my computer - clearing out old
files, etc.  All of a sudden, all of my husband's "stuff" isn't
working.  All IE related.  For example, pages will only show in HTML
with no active x controls, no pop up menus, etc.

I went to www.time.gov and IE7 blocked the unsigned activex control. So I
went into security settings in options and chose "custom level." Then I
changed "download unsigned activex controls" to prompt. I then refreshed
time.gov and it asked me if I wanted to install the activex ...

I'm having two problems -- the first is that when I go to use pogo games, it
tells me that my computer does not have java on it.
I have made sure it is enabled, cleared the java files, cleared all cookies,
uninstalled and downloaded and installed the latest version and it still

This is new this month. When I am in eBay, instead of opening an
auction page, it sends me to blockbuster.com or circuitcity.com or
netflix.com etc. I have win 98 and IE6 SP1. Ran spyware programs and

Hi, i have recently installed ie7 on my windows xp computer. Everytime i open
it it comes up with the message that uit is runnning with add ons disabled. I
have enabled them and every time i open ie i check to see that they are still
