I have the latest IE7 on both my machines (XP x64 and Vista x64, all updated). On both systems, I cannot get bird's-eye view to work at maps.live.com. I can be looking at Manhattan at highest zoom, and the bird's eye view icon is always greyed out.

I'm currently in Italy and when I try to visit certain web sites with .com extensions IE 7 re-directs me to the Italian .it web page. Problem is...I don't read Italian yet. Please provide advice on how to turn this feature off.

Hello all i have overlaped image of ie7 icon on my burned cds and dvds every folder on the cd and file shows like a IE7 icon but only a blank one nothing in it like a blank page. Can anyone tell me how i can fix this issue that just started to happen after microsoft updates.

Hey... when I open a link in a new tab, it opens it in a new window, I've installed Firefox and it works perfectly. Should I delete IE7 and stick to Firefox?? Does anyone know how this problem can be fixed??

I have Vista that came with IE 7.0 and when I double click to open the program the computer hangs for at least a minute or two before it opens the explorer window. This happens EVERY time, not just when I initially click on it.

I see others have reported the problem with IE7 and Windows XP where the 'Add to Favorites' > 'Create in' dropdown gives a fully expanded hierarchy of Favorites folders that can't be collapsed, which is very difficult to navigate unless you have only a few folders.

Does anyone know if it is possible to have configure IE7 to connect via a proxy when at the office and, not via a proxy when at home. When at home I have to go to LAN setting and untick the proxy so that I can connect to the Internet
