My OS is WinXP w/ sp2 service pack.  Internet Explorer 7 or IE7 for sp2 will
not let me use Adobe Active X Flash Player 9 and I am not able to access a
number of sites or messaging programs without it.

We randomly have IE7 fail to connect to the internet on some of our XP sp2
machines. The fix I have found is to log in as ADMIN, open the internet
(which works fine) and then log back in as the user (the internet then works).
