In Internet Explorer 7, how do I remove a user name that has been saved?  I
tried deleting browsing history, disabling autocomplete, to no avail.  It is
amazing how a simple task can become so impossible.  Thanks for any

I am running IE 7 on XP MCE. When I open a web page and click on a link

I just had got problem in my IE 7.0 and is that at the bottom of the web
page there is a bar which shows that how much data is being transferred and

I am having an issue where one visitor to my site cannot see the text

we have pages which include Chinese and German Umlaute (ä, ö, ü).
Setting up "Chinese(Simplified)" from "View/Encoding"
causes to show Chinese in a correct matter, but the German Umlaute are not properly shown.

My IE7 will not sort by names all of my favorites.

I've been using IE7 since it came out.  Just today, WinXP64 started failing
in several areas that are brand new to me ... never saw the problems before.
Favorites:  Click and nothing happens.
Ctrl-Click a link:  A tab opens, displays "Connecting..." and does nothing.

I have just networked two home PCs via their network cards.  One is also

I tried to download a csv-file. It just opens in a frame and I don't have
any possibility to save it on my my fixed disk. Which settings (XP and/or IE)
