How do I keep the status bar in ie 6.0 permanently displayed? It never shows
unless I choose to view it manually each time I open a browser window. Is it
controlled by a registry setting?

When clicking on a link to download, say, a user manual from a manufacturer.

Since a few days when playing streaming videos in IE7 with the WMP11 plug-in
