Hi, I am having problems with downloads with IE 7.  the download appears to
start but the screen empties and says done.  Is anyone having a similar
problem?  Seems to be especially with pdf files but been having with all
downloads.

Does anybody know if a URL can be structured in a way that includes a
username and password?  The purpose would be to bypass the Windows
password dialog box, and go directly to a password protected web page.
Any advice would be much appreciated.  Thanks.

I recently re-installed IE7 due to a bug involving the way it opens pages (or
rather, doesn't), and found that the address bar had buggered off. I've
expanded all the toolbars, disabled the demons that came with the BT Browser
(which I NEVER use, because it breaks the computer) ...
