I recently found that IE7 (running under XP Pro) was slow to open. Also,
clicking to open a new tab took 10 -12 seconds to open; likewise choosing to
open a link in a new tab took that long as well. I found, "How to optimize

All of a sudden, IE7 (with WinXP Pro SP2) will start up, go to a home page,
and suddenly say it has a problem and shuts down.  Repeated sending report to
microsoft yields nothing.
I run Mozilla Firefox with no problem.  Uninstalling IE 7 and using IE 6

I believe the porblem might be it doesn't load on to Vista. I have tried on
mine and my boyfriends laptop and both say no.

Whe I start my computer, nothing seems to be happening. When I look at Task
Manager, I find that iexplore.exe and explorer.exe are using up to 99% of the

I am using XP and IE6. it is standalone comp with me. and now few
sites have been blocked like orkut yahoo etc.. when ever i enter site
address in these sites a pop up box appears says website is blocked.

When I right-click a link in IE7, I don't get an "Open in new tab" option.
I do if I am logged in as Administrator, but I don't in my normal user
account.

Is there an add-on which replaces the close X on tabs with a single button
on the toolbar? The difference in colour between the active tab and the
others is not aways clear even when it is the only button with a cross on
it.

Hello. Where is the browser history stored in IE7 and is it possible to only
delete only specific entries in the Form data and Passwords categories. I
know that in IE under  Tools - Internet options - General - Browsing History
you can delete temporary Internet Files, Cookies, ...

(aol.com) I get an error message which reads:
