Can anyone tell me how to disable the IE7 'confirmation clicks', which
happen whenever I select a new page or (more annoyingly) whenever a
page auto updates?

My ie7 started to change favicons o the sites.  Favicons keeps changing from
one site to another.  I use windows xp sp2 up to date.  I usually starts ie7
with 3 urls at the start.  What may be happening?  Thanks in advance.

Follow up to July 24th Post.
Intermittently, IE7 prevents mouse clicks below the menu bar. This starts
most often when I create a new tab or select the favorites icon. It goes most
often when I select a running program in the task bar notification area and

I cannot get IE to get back from No-add on mode. I did not choose to have it
on in the first place. So naturally I cant do hardly anything considering I
have not stupid active-x. Can someone please help me? BTW I am not a newb. I

I desperately need some help.  I have always had Yahoo open whenever I opened
IE7, however, as of late what opens up instead of Yahoo is a adware trying to
sell me antivirus software.  The url shows up as "asecurityservice.com".  I
don't know who these people are, they just ...

Until recently, this was working correctly and pages that were previously
viewed displayed with the different (I use the default) color.
Recently, while the color changes within a session, once I close IE and
reopen it, the hyperlinks for all of those previously viewed pages ...

I have Explorer 7 with Vista.  I notice recently that many sites will not
permit my going back to a previous site using the "back" or "forward"
button.  Is there something in my tools or options that can help with this?

I have been having a problem for months now and can't seem to find the answer.
Basically flash player doesn't work in Internet Explorer. It started before
when I was using IE6, but even after the update to IE7 the problem is still
there - it just won't show flash content.

I use Internet Explorer 7 on a computer with XP.
There is a website (just one) that I have gone to several times. In the last
couple of weeks, when I try to go to that page it briefly says "google it" in
the tab and then goes back to my home page (google). I have tried opening
