After having given up on installing IE7, I came across a possible fix to my
Windows Update problem -- error 0x8009310B - ASN_1 bad tag value met.  The
fix was posted by somebody named Patricia back in June '06 and can be found

I downloaded IE7 beta yesterday and I've noticed that any Internet links in
emails will not open in IE7.  I have to copy/paste the link to my browser
window.

On some webpages the graphic image (picture) does not show up but instead
there is a white square with a little red square a cirlce and a triangle in
side of it.  Whet am I missing to get teh image to appear? (Am using IE7 with

i was running ie6 and oe6 on windows xp professional sp2 with all updates -
i have just finished downloading and installing ie7,
everything went great, i rebooted twice after the install finished -
but - ,

I found a problem when we using the Ie7 on vista.
I change the Favorites location, then IE7 can't create Favorite URL.

My IE7 launches all by its self and then when I have a window open, it
minimizes and maximizes all by its self. I cannot stop it. Then it starts
opening like hundreds of IE windows. I have done a full virus, defrag,
registry check and spy ware check  and it still keeps happening. ...

I only want Internet site references in my 'typed URLs'.  I would really like
it if my my IE browsing history only showed IE browsing history and not the
browsing history of Explorer.  How can I turn off this unwanted clutter in my
