Is there a way to prevent IE7 opening another window. I use tabs exclusively, but if I open from a link in a newsreader, then a new window opens. I would rather it didn't. A new tab would be fine.

I see there are a fair number of messages re IE7 shutting down unexpectedly. My situation is different. On rare occasions, I may get the message apologizing that there has been an error, and IE7 must shut down. in the middle of working on things.

I get this error every single time I open IE7. I am running it on Vista Ultimate. I click yes or no and I close normally. I have flushed the cache and deleted all in options. I have restarted the pc. Nothing stops it. Any idea how to fix this?

I have Vista Home Premium on a new Dell PC. I have been using IE7 for a few days, imported my favorites, and it worked OK. Today I click on the STAR button (for favorites), and it opens an empty window.
