Internet Explorer is adding ":80" to the end of my URLs10 Aug 2007 02:57 GMT3
When I click on a link in Outlook Express, the URL ends up with an ":
80" after the ".com".
So if I have the link http//:www.foo.com, when I click on it IE goes
to http://www.foo.com:80

Hi, I've got a computer running XP SP2 but it's not connected to the 'net.
(AFAIK it *can't* be connected to the 'net, either.) How can I install IE7 on

Using XP SP2 and some mystery version of IE7 (Help -> About gives me a the
usual screen with no version listed nor encryption details, neither button

Just the other day, I lost internet connectivity only on my Vista computer.  
Three other computers are running XP with no problem (2 wireless, 1 wired).  
I've tried everything to include a system restore and reinstallation of
software.  Even taking out the router does not work ...

Ie7 will stop responding in one window, making it impossible to close.
However I can open another window, at the same time, and it will work fine.
Meanwhile the other window remains unusable & uncloseable.

I have a workstation that is running XP and IE7.  I had a need to post a
question in the Accounting forums and could not launch a new question.  I am
now posting using another XP workstation on my network.  It has IE6 still
installed.
