IE 7 is generating a "internet explorer cannot display webpage" error message - I have tried every conceivable fix - I have internet connection and have run other MS fixes such as regarding DLLs etc but no help - can you offer any suggestions

I am very annoyed by the new ie7 because when i open a new window, I automatically get sent to the old window that I was previously browsing in. ie6 did not do this. I did not find a way to tweak the settings so that the window I open remains the one that I am viewing.
