Unable to open the Vista Supported devices page in IE706 Aug 2007 14:51 GMT1
I'm trying to open the Vista Supported Devices page under IE 7 and Vista
Business and geting the following message: Windows Vista Hardware
Compatibility List

I have Windows Vista Ultimate (64-bit) and Internet Explorer 7 (64-bit)
preinstalled on my computer. I have been informed that to use Java Runtime
Environment (JRE) on my computer I must install Internet Explorer 7
(32-bit).

Installed IE7 from MS.com.  No poblems with the install, got to the "restart
now or later" and clicked "restart now."  Computer shut down, turned back on
and made it to the sign on screen.  When I select any of the user IDs, the
computer attempts to log on then pops a message up ...

I am having a problem with IE7 installed with Vista.  Evertime I select PRINT
or PRINT PREVIEW, I get the following error:
Cannot find 'file///D:/TEMP/Low/YAYYU81T.htm'. Make sure the path or
Internet address is correct.

I checked to download the english version but when it finished downloading,
the language changed to japanese.
I assumed it was the region and language settings but when I change that to
english, I can't read japanese becuz it becomes this weird looking character

I just purchased a new computer with Windows Vista Premium.  I have a
Netgear router which appears to be functioning properly. The Admin has no
problem accessing the internet. When other users attempt to access the
internet they recieve the 'Access Denied: Error Message 403: ...

Hi;
      While opening Symantec Tech support chat site i am getting error
message that " Internet explorer has encountered a problem and needs to
close". And in the error signature its giving

I'm having a problem with saving web pages consistently from day to day on
some sites that I visit.  When I want to save the web page on a particular
site, I go to the file menu and click on "Save As...".  The web page is then
saved as a file on my computer.  This works on some ...

Previous versions of ie allowed me to search a web page for a word instead of
having to brouse through the entire page for what i was looking for. I can't
find this option on ie7. Does it exist? Where or why not?

After some time (I'm not sure yet, but maybe after 5 minutes or so), IE7 goes
to sleep -- that is, in the sense that it takes almost exactly 12 seconds to
load a new page.  
Even if the new page is "about:blank" or "about:Tabs" or a local page or

I've started using IE v6 on XP Home SP2.  I cannot set my homepage.
Whenever I try, it reverts to MSN.  I've gone into the registry and
tried to reset it to google.  I get an error message that says the
value cannot be changed.

I just put a new hard drive in my laptop.  With that had to set up all
drivers etc.
Everything was working great and I restored all my software starting with
virus/spam/firewall/spy software from defender pro5.  I was then told to go
