I run my IE in "full screen" mode continously.
When  opened in "full screen" the "links bar"  is not present.  The "links
bar" IS present normally.  YES, I do have the right click menu checked for
"links".  I do not have access to my "links toolbar" unless I minimize it

Prior to IE 7 when connecting to my website host server by FTP, after
entering my username and password, the directory structure appeared in the
browser window. Now, with IE 7 and tabbed windows, when I do the same thing,

I have to click several times on IE7 for my clicks to take effect. This is
intermittent but annoying. I simply want to click once to make menu choices
or other selections.
I tried reinstalling IE7 and the problem went away the first time I used the

IE7 fails to install on my XP pro SP2 (all other updates done).
I am administrator on the machine.
The log file shows:

In the Event Viewer there is a section titled "Internet Explorer" yet it is
always empty.  Does IE7 not log events here?  Do I have to change some
