I am using Vista basic with ie7.0 and unable to open any https sites.For ex

When I click Start, and go to SEARCH, IE7 shuts down for about 15 seconds. I
get a warning window-which if I close-IE7 shuts down. If I don't close the
window, I can usually complete my search. After I close the warning window,
as I said IE7 shuts down, then comes back.

I am trying to access secured (HTTPS) web sites and each time I try to log in
the site says it experiences an unexpected error and has to close.  I access
unsecured web sites with out any issues

the tabs are, the easier it is to accidently hit that X on the tab that

I have 3 pcs running Windows XP and similar software on each.  Two of the pcs
updated to IE7 with no problems during the normal Windows update but the
other I have a problem with.  The software installs with no apparent problem

For some reason IE7 will not keep the history in memory (in the address
dropdown). It keeps it while IE is open but once I shut IE down it all goes
away. Another strange thing, every time IE brings me to my Yahoo homepage, it
always tells me I need to sign into Yahoo again even ...

I have had problems with windows hanging up and then not being able to close
them without the task manager. I don't like the way IE 7 is set up and wish

Ok.  Lately, my Internet Explorer has begun shutting itself down within the
minute of me going to any other website than my homepage.  It displays a box
say "This program has stopped working, windows will attempt to restart it."  
Its been doing this for the last day and won't ...

I.E. shuts down and restarts when I try to print any webpage to one of my
network printers.  I have a wireless network and use the printers through my

Lately I've been getting a number of files ending _bogus[1] (as above)
in C:\Documents and Settings\MyName\Local Settings\Temporary Internet
Files\Content.IE5\0A70TSU1.
I did a quick google and they appear to be Word back up files.

I updated Notepad plus(Sourcefourge) Unfortunately, I uninstalled the
previous Notepad++ version before updating which might be the reason why
View Page Source has reverted to the Windows Notepad.
