when i open multiple tabs and close the first tab that i open, then all the
tabs closes.

I received a message to download Internet 7 and did so last night.  All day
today I have been trying to get into the Internet but nothing opens but a
blank white page with a box saying  "Connecting" but it does not move or
connect.   I can not close the page and have to shut down ...

XP SP2, Office 2007 and IE7
if I right-click on an image in a web page and select "Email picture", I get
the option to resize, click Ok , it says "preparing to send" and then
nothing happens. the box just disappears, and no email is sent.

I have a "Java" application (running under JBOSS).
From IE7 I invoke a servlet (doPost()) that in turn calls a web service (in
doPost()). The webservice returns the document using ISO-8895-1 encoding. In

I'm a Mac user and trying Vista out for the first time. The last Win version
I used was Win 95.
IE has completely frozen, I can't close the pages and the toolbars won't
load. I can open tabs and dropdown menus work, but that's all. I tried the

We have a laptop with Windows Vista.  EI was working just fine until a recent
update.  We cannot get EI to go to any website.  Any suggestions on fixing
this problem?  We did the diagnostics, etc. and tried to restore to a
different date, etc.,

My tabs have vanished. its probably something really simple to restore them,
but I've tried the Cntrl T and Cntrl 1 and changing setup on the  internet
explorer view and still cant find how to bring them back. They worked fine
before.

I keep getting a message that says I.E. cannot download from Windows.  I have
a new Dell computer with Internet Vista Ultimate and Office 2007.  I've
checked with Dell and they haven't been able to determine what the problem

When I open a new tab or IE window, it takes about 60 seconds to open and
all other IE tabs and windows freeze while the new one is opening. Firefox
behaves the same way, so I'm guessing that some other s/w on my computer is
causing the issue... any ideas?

I do not know if it's an issue with Real or with Microsoft.
That is why I have posted on both sites.

I am using IE 6 with Win XP SP2.  I previously installed IE 7 and had so many
problems that I uninstalled it and went back to IE 6.  Now some links on
webpages don't work with IE 6 but do work with Firefox.  Any suggestions
about a fix?

I have Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition Version 2002 Service Pack 1.  Is
there any way I can upgrade to IE7?
