Since a few days websites do not display characters like é or ï or " as they
should.
My browser now always starts up with UTF-8 encoding, and even if I change to
Western European Windows it keeps on resetting to UTF-8 each time I start

MTV Overdrive thinks i'm outside the UK when i'm trying to watch video
content.  I have have checked the regional settings in Vista and everythig is
set to English United Kingdom.  This is the message I get:

I'm using XP Pro SP2, IE 6.0 SP2 128bit encryption, and am wondering how I
can eliminate the drop down history on the address bar, without deleting the
entire history.
Only option I could find was the Clear History on the General tab of the

A user reported this morning that the last modified date on this page

updates every time they refresh the page.  The page has not been updated

When trying to open an attachment (a .doc file) from an email in aol, I
receive the message: Not able to open this internet site. The requested site
is either unavailable or cannot be found.
What do I need to do to be able to open this file?

I am sorting and organizing information that contains dates and cities, it
is for a small library collection and I have listed in word the information
but now need to sort and put into an order that is easier to read.  Is it

Bulid it from scratch, but keeping the same UI as we have now, just under a
tottaly new diferent platform. Make a Ajax type of UI (Bulid the current UI
under ajax)

I have set my home page to be  iGoogle .Whenever i lauch iE7 from my taskbar
3 tabs open simultaneously with iGoogle as home page.If i set any other web

We are trying to save documents from the Adobe Reader 7.0.x from the IE and
when we do, one of our users (and only one) has a %20 in the save file name
where a space is.  I understand that the %20 represents a space, but how do
we get the IE to save with the original space and ...

Recently, Flash has stopped rendering in Internet Explorer. I go to the Adobe
site to reinstall Flash 9 and the first the information bar drops down and
says:
"This website wants to install the following add-on: 'Adobe Flash Player'
