What might be wrong with my settings if i can open some sites on the internet
but i cant open others which work on other computers?

Does anyone know how do make IE 7 look like previous versions of Internet
Explorer i.e. Menu bar at the top With all the buttons in the middle
(Forward, Back , Home, Refresh etc.)

I just got a new laptop with Vista and IE7.  I noticed that when I open a
file thru Excel  and navigate the folders, the location of those folders
appears in Internet Explorer Address Bar.  Is this normal?  Is there a way to

whenever i am on a webiste and i want to write them an email, i click on the
link for ex.. greff@tcf.com...but it doesnt go to my hotmail.  I already went
to internet options and selected hotmail as my email default...whatelse???

Would it be safe to delete "(not verified)" add-ons in the manage add-ons
option?  In some cases these are newer versions of the same add-on that
indicates it was previously verified.

Is there any way to open up the new window that one makes when clicking on a
link within IE to maximum size please?
The max size I can get by dragging the new window out as far as possible and
then saving with Control/Shift or Alt is just about reaching the top of the

I don't know what I changed recently, but IE7 started complaining that I'm
blocking cookies.  I claim I'm not.
I stopped all antivirus and antispy software.  Windows firewall is on.

I'm experiencing an odd problem with IE6 running on WinXP SP2 Pro, and would
appreciate some help in solving it if anyone has any ideas.
