Dumb mistake - IE7 - I clicked on View and unchecked Menu Bar by mistake. Now it's gone and I can't see how to restore it since the menu command controlling views is now gone.

how does one remove the previously visited tracks one has made in the Search Bar drop down box, in the RH corner of IE7. I have tried TOOLS, internet options, GENERAL, Browsing History...delete temporary files etc., but this doesnt work.

I am using IE7 and XP2 Sp2, automatic updates on with all updates applied. Last night I saw that there was an update to be installed on shut down. This morning the favorites were there, but grayed out. Then in the afternoon they came back to normal without even re-booting. Is

A few months ago I uninstalled ie7 from my computer because there was an issue with outlook express. Now I want to install ie7 again and I continuely get the installation failed. I went thru all of the troubleshooting steps and ie7 still will not install. What am i missing?

I've read some of the other threads about this, so please bear with me as I describe the problem and what I've tried so far that I've seen in other posts. IE7, XP Home Any time a popup window is closed, IE crashes and I send the error report.

Excel opens, but the screen is blank. The only way to open a file is to drag and drop it into the already open Excel program. Any suggestions? Thanks, Jason

I 'upgraded' to ie 7 and it's been a nightmare! It won't work with airline sites and I have to pay 20 bucks to by tickets on the phone. I spoke to tech help at Alaska, for example, and they told me to delete IE and 'upgrade' to netscape!
