I have a Mandarin website that works perfectly in IE6, but in IE 7, the Mandarin characters show up as boxes in Select boxes. The Mandarin characters show up fine everywhere else. Has anybody seen anything similar, know of a way around this? Any

This is annoying to the point of abandoning IE. I need almost everything enabled for my own sites and the sites I visit. The defaults are way too strict. They are all throwing errors at everything, normal web design, and we are not going to redo our sites.

when I try to delete browser hisory, the window runs indefinitely. I close it out and get an error mssg indicating "run a dll as an app". I tried reinstalling explorer to no avail. Anyone help?

Every time I close IE7, I get a ghost image of IE, as if it is not being closed. I have to refresh the Desktop in order to veiw the icons, although if I mouse over them, I can see the individual items. Any ideas as to what is happening? Thanks.

I've turned off Autocomplete in IE 7 and it comes on almost daily asking me to be turned back on. "Would you like to turn this feature on?" popup keeps coming back randomly after i've repeatedly selected no. ----------------

In IE 6 I can type the letter C in the address bar and it would give me a drop down that shows my C:\ as well as the Control Panel. I'm an IT guy and I commonly do a "Run-as" on IE, put in my admin credentials and open the Control Panel this way so I can have admin rights to do ...

I updated to IE 7 and it just won't launch. Nothing happens when I click on icon. I went to genuine Windows update, and it uninstalled IE7, then reinstalled, updated, etc. Still doesn't work. I tried launching with No Add Ons with same

When I go to click on the link that's not working that usually works it says javascript:void on the status bar, this seems to be the problem with the other websites as well. Is there anything I can do to rectify this?
