I've used IE successfully for years but suddenly it won't connect. I am on
DSL and able to connect  to Compuserve, but not IE.

Everytime I exit out of a webpage "Internet Explorer error page" comes up
asking if I wish to report the problem.  Sometimes if I do the request goes
through or sometimes it says I have to be connected to the internet to do so,
even if I am connected to the internet.

Using XP Pro SP2, all patches applied.
We use an online yearbook service. To upload images, we browse to the image
location and click on the filename. At that time their app is supposed to
show a previes of the image being uploaded. But in IE 7, it just shows a

My links on the pages I visit seem to "expire" within a day or two making it
difficult for me to determine if a specific link has been visited recently.
I thought there was a way to set the number of days that links showed
visited before they "expired."  I'm not sure what to call it ...

When I fire up my IE7 under Win XP SP2 I get the following coming up every
time as my default home page:
http://runonce.msn.com/runonce2.aspx
How do I get rid of this?  I have set my home page in internet options.

I have a gif file on my home page that sometimes is displayed as a black box
when it should be displayed as a pale gray box.  I noticed this on my wifes
computer then yesterday on my computer.  Does anyone know what would cause an
intermitant error displaying gif files?

I used gpedit.msc to configure IE 7 on XP system to Prevent 1st run policy,
however, when I run gpedit on a Windows 2003 terminal server, the same
policies are not available, what gives?

I just noticed that my IE7 has totally stopped working.  I mainly use FireFox
and it works fine (and still works fine)
If I open up IE, it will try to go to my homepage (google) it fails and says:

We have a .NET app. Our users are used to their legacy systems that require
them to hit Enter to move to the next field. Is there a way to configure or
program IE to do this instead of taking an action?

I want to know if someone can help me with this annoying problem. When I try
to close one tab, IE7 sends error message and closes. I'm getting tired of
being shut down!!!!
