I tried to set up a download of my checking account activity to Quicken.  I
get a message to the effect that IE7 has protected me by blocking the
download.  I'm sure IE7 had the best intentions, but I'm a big boy.  How can
I ask the nanny to desist?

Ok I did a little more checking. Any logo or banner anding in .png does not
show on web pages. Does anyone know of a fix?

When i try to close an internet window, i get a message saying that it has
encountered a problem and has to close. I have send error reports. What can i
do to avoid or even stop this problem.

Well, appartantly I'm like most others on this forum, I have extremely slow
browsing on IE7 and I've watched the hour glass flip for hours and hours
trying to download pages over the last several months. I have a 512 kps
connection and the problem seems to exist on this computer ...

Hi I own a business and have a teens working that won't stay off the
internet.  I had put in a password for internet enabling and disabling.  My
password has been forgotten and I cannot get in and disable them from surfing
the net.  Is there any way to do this?

I have the message IE is currently running with add-ons disabled. I have
followed the directions to enable, but on manage add ons all say enabled. I
tried uninstall reinstall. same message. i wouldn't care but instead of going
to my start up page It goes to a add ons not enabled ...

I had numerous (40?) pages bookmarked -- and suddenly their gone!  
I have one suspicion - I signed up for Google Gmail today - did that play a
part?  This seems irrelevant except, strangely, whenever I've pressed "Manage
bookmarks" I get taken to a Google page.  I'm not sure why ...

Since a few days all characters like é and ï and so on show up as block. I
need the West European setting, but it keeps setting itself to UTF-8, even
when I disable autoselect. I'm at a loss. How can I make sure it stays at
West European Windows and doesn't start up with UTF-8 ...

I just got a new Computer with Vista and IE7 and when I go on myspace the
comments section does not display the contents. It only outlines the area
where the comments should be. Some pages show the comments but I cant scroll

I downloaded IE7 and have windows xp. My problem is that when i am on the net
and try to close a window it tells me that IE has encountered a problem and
has to shut down, leaving me on my desktop screen. is there anything i can do

all tabs pick up the same ID and user selection from the most recent
selection on tabs, due to a common session cookie.

The company I work for are having sporatic problems with websites not opening
or not loading successfully.  There are certain websites such as cnet.com, or
foxnews.com that will be redirected to

I have a public system that I want to load internet explorer on login to a
unique user account (default logon) and when IE loads it goes to kiosk mode
(full screen).  I have tried to include it in the registry under the "HKEY
