I understand that IE7 now opens a new window for each zone. Is there a way to turn that off? I got used to one window with many tabs and am getting sick of trying to figure out which sites are in the 5 or 6 IE windows that open.

I have a new Win XP notebook (which was old stock) here which I hope i IE6 because I am sick of the IE7 problems on my desktop. Before I star with it and connect it up I just want to confirm it IS IE6. How do I d this - "properties" does not tell you the version

hi guys.. i've got a starnge problem.we're using xp2 with ie6 as our default browser. lately we've been getting alot of cases where users are having problems accessing the local intranet webpage but have no problems accessing internet.

Outlook 2003 is set as my default email program and yet when I am on the web with IE7 (& Vista) when I click File/Send/Page By Email IE7 opens Windows Mail instead of Outlook, why? My addressbook is not even present in Windows Mail.

Okay, IE7 seems to have taken external associations a bit too far. I can't open a single webpage in IE7 cause it's not my default browser. Every address I physically type in the address bar or click in the bookmarks opens up into Firefox. Even "Windows Update" from the Tools
