I have Windows XP and downloaded the latest version of quicktime player.  
Everytime I try to play an internet video requiring quicktime, I get a big Q
with a ?.  I have tried different settings on the player to no avail.  But if
I uninstall Apple products, I can play the videos ...

i've a problem with an AJAX application when i run it with IE7.
This AJAX application is a timeline (http://simile.mit.edu/timeline/)
and reads datas from an XML file, and  so puts "pins" on the timeline.
So:

Since I dowloaded the new IE, the windows get lost when I minimize them.
They are not on the taskbar. In order to reopen the wndows I go task manager
applications.

None of the data form info and passwords are "readily available" after I have
visited a site for the second/third/fourth/etc time. Previously, when I
entered a username at a site, logged in, logged out, and came back the next
time, my username was available in a drop down box ...

the icons in front of the names of some tabs have mysteriously changed.  I
suspect a new application has altered them. Can anyone tell me the section of
the registry where these icon names are to be found so I can change them back.

OK let me preface I love IE7 its good stuff. There is some behavior I cannot
stand and I think its related to tabbed browsing because this didn't exist in
6.0
Ok some facts about this post.

    Since installing IE7 the icons in my favourites files and in the
address bar/tabs have reverted to that little icon indicating they are not
associated with anything. I'm not sure what that little icon is called but we
see it if it can't be opened by any application and then ...

Everytime I reboot I get this popup:
MSASCui.exe - unable to locate component. This application has failed to
start because MpClient.dll was not found.
Not a clue what happened.  Haven't installed anything in weeks.

I cannot delete the microsoft redirection to ninemsn as my home page. I have
removed it under the home tab and tools, internet options, use about blank. I
do not want a home page. Any help would be appreciated.

Always that I open Internet Explorer 7 to see any page (for example

I am running Windows XP with IE7.  My text is fine but my images are blurry
and distorted.  I also have Mozilla Firefox on my computer and everything is
working fine from that browser.  So, what could be causing this problem in
IE7 ?
