I have IE7 and have entered in my proxy in the LAN settings  section

to copy and paste the version number and update versions from
"About IE" under the IE help menu. This is often important

Ok, when I go into the favorites menu
and click "Add Favorites" it gives me the little popup.
When i select the drop down menu to change the folder i want the page in, it

I'm being driven mad by the following problem and hope somebody can help.
Whenever I click the Favourites dropdown menu in IE7 all I get is a half
transparent, half menu with no links (or in fact any text at all) visible.
