I use an online company for registration purposes for a sports program.
There is a catalog window that should pop up when I click on an icon but I am

I have Windows xp pro with service pack 2, IE7. The problem is the system
will reboot
itself for no apparent reason. I've already did a system recovery to no
avail. I also did complete system diagnostics and nothing seems to be wrong.

Explorer problem17 Oct 2007 20:42 GMT3
Went to the "My computer" tools tab and folder as you showed me and the HTM &
HTML had the Firefox icon association.  I changed it to Explorer but it
didn't do any good. (There were also other extensions that had the Firefox
file type)

on another one), cookies are automatically recorded in the Temporary Internet
Files directory.
Different Formatted Maximized Window17 Oct 2007 17:12 GMT6
I don't know why the following happens: When I open an IE window on my
desktop, a vast majority of the time, the window, when maximized, shows the
menu bars of IE on the top, and my PC's Taskbar at the bottom; however, once
in a while, when the window opens, it converts to where ...

IE7 opens two windows when using favorites17 Oct 2007 14:03 GMT16
Choosing from favorites causes the program to open two browser windows.  The
program also opens two dial-up windows when trying to connect.  Pulling data
for double windows over dialup slows the data stream to the point of becoming
unusable.
address bar pull down list17 Oct 2007 13:49 GMT5
I am using IE6, Windows XP.  The pull-down list for the address bar works
most of the time, but it is periodically erased and I don't know why. I know
that it is simply a record of my previously keyed searches and not related to
history, which is intact.  However it is an ...
IE7 crashes when I try to download a file17 Oct 2007 12:52 GMT2
Lately, IE7 "encounters an error" and crashes whenever I try to download a
file. After the crash, the file download proceeds in its own window. I can
browse perfectly well as long as I don't try to download a file. So now I use
IE for the sites which need it, but have to use ...
IE7 Search Engine17 Oct 2007 10:17 GMT6
I've installed IE7 on my new Dell laptop (Win XP Pro) and it's doing my head
in.  Specifically, if I type a bad URL, it directs me to Google (and not
just plain vanilla Google, but a poxy Dell-branded variant).  I do not want
this.  If I type a bad URL, it's because of a simple ...
