I have downloaded the MSIE 7 from the Microsoft website, installed propperly,
rebooted - and lo, it is not going onine.
I am getting the following:

In my IE7 I have lost my icons, tools, etc. It also happens in no add-on
mode. Also it says my IE7 has not been accesed since 8-21-07 in add and
remove hardware, I can't reset REIS, because I have no tools options, I have
tried system restore but it will not let me due to updates ...

Although I am connected to the internet and my inbox shows number of messages
when I try to open and read any one of those ,  I get the message " either
you are not connected to the internet" which is not right, or " the website
is encountering problems"..

I have just upgraded to IE7 and have XP SP2. When i open the page, it
automatically goes to http://runonce.msn.com/runonce2.aspx so that i can
Customize settings, but the page loads with an error on it. It allows me to
select my setings but it just wont apply them.

this was on another ng about 30 mins ago and my husband is having exactly

I have some problems with my internet explorer or maybe it's my system.
I can't seems to view any chinese characters on IE and on my computer
settings..

On the Windows XP, Internet Explorer is able to be accessed from 1 person's
profile(don't know what else to call it);however, it can not be accessed from
the other 3 people's.  It just refuses to come up.  At times, not all the
time, a message pops up that says 'SMWDMIF.dll is ...

It just started on two of my computers any time I open IE 7 my PC goes to
100% does not matter which web site.
Did they download and update recently that is causing this problem?
Any help would be great

Hi, running XPHome SP2 fully patched.
After downloading and installing the latest critical updates, including a
cumulative security update for IE7, this am, and rebooting I can no longer
startup IE7.

I'm using Internet Explorer 7.0.5730, Windows XP Pro SP2 Build 2600
When I open about 15 to 20 tabs in IE 7,  the right click gets disabled and
I'm not able to open any more tabs or open any other window. Usually Windows
Xp allows us to open about 30 to 40 windows at a time, but ...

Current system: XP SP2, IE7
How do I eliminate the expanding/delayed menus? Other programs (e.g, MS
Word, Start menu) let you select, but I could not find a way to do it with
IE7.

The deleting dialogue panel locks up in use and requires Task Panel action to
end the programme. Annoying. Should be fixed.

to correctly visualize every site internet I must add this last among the
reliable sites in the options internet, is it possible to select an option
that allows to correctly visualize the sites internet without duty for

If i open IE7, then click on a desktop shortcut that i dragged from
favorites, it opens fine in another tab.  If i open the shortcut directly
with the browser being closed, IE7 hangs.  started occuring after recent
updates.  based on other discussions, sounds like im not alone.
