type ? and a search term in the address bar, it goes to Google.  But if

Problem installing IE 711 Oct 2007 01:26 GMT3
After installing IE7 I get the message Installation failed ... etc. etc.
Checking the IE7.log gives me 2 unwriteable keys in the registry. HKCR\news
and HKLM\SOFTWARE\Classes\news. I cannot access these keys. They give an
error.

All of a sudden when I try to open IE7 it asks me to sign in.  I have never
had to do this in the past when I signed in originally I never sign out. Just
pushed my Home button on the keyboard and was in to My Page.
Now I have to sign in every time.
