This issue is happening both in IE and Firefox which leads me to believe its a DLL/system file issue. When pages load, it appears if if some of the links are missing on the page or 'whited out'. If I highlight them sometimes they will show up as

I appear to have this anomoly... it's not your normal toolbar is not active yada yada... When I start IE7 from the icon or from the Start/Run dialog, it appears to start as a child of the Explorer shell and the Norton Toolbar always appears

Well, I know how to do this, but then I accidently clicked the "Do Not open the Dialog box again" so now I can't get Internet Explorer to re-open the tabs. Is there anyway of getting that dialog box to come up again. Do I have to install internet explorer 7 again???

I can no longer add an item to a shopping cart. If I try at best buy it takes me to an empty shopping cart. another site gives me an url missing error. I have tried reinstalling with no luck. I am running xp. Does anyone know a setting that could cause this.

After I installed IE 7.0.5730.13, when I do Microsoft Update it finds KB937143. But the installation fails. I also tried to download KB937143 from Microsoft and install it manually, but it gives me sth. like 'cannot install with this version of IE'.
