I am having a problem in IE7. It is opening only in Safe mode. But in normal

Well I currently have IE 6 and I went to update to IE7 but the Windows
Update website does not have IE 7 as an automatic update. They used to but it
is no longer there.
I have Windows XP SP2 and I downloaded 80+ critical updates yesterday but as

Internet explorer 7 deletes all my windows xp help and support "Index" and
when i click on the "Related Topics", nothing appears instead i see a small
icon near "notes". i download latest version of internet explorer 7 and

I am using Windows Vista, EI7.  When i click on favorites, it is blank.  I
try to ad a webpage that I have added before to my favorites and i get a
message that this webpage has already been added. (The favorite tab is still

Now that I'm running Microsoft Vista, when I try to access my url list,
instead of showing my entries from the top, as it always used to, it shows me
the list scrolled all the way down to the bottom.  How can I get the url list
to display from the top of the list?

I recommend future browsers have a special attention to provide a
suggestive way to save Favorites links both in the machine and in a
removable device for that purpose. The reason being, it is quite usual
to loose this important information, and keeping it in a removable

Hope I'm posting in the right forum, but can't find this question anywhere
else.
I've had problems trying to connect to the Windows Update site. Every way
I've tried to go into the update site it comes up with the following message:

My computer would not boot into Windows XP, I did a repair on the OS and now
can get in.  I can open IE 7, home page loads, but cannot go to another web
page.  I booted my computer in safe mode; IE6 is the browser in safe mode,
