When I double click on an mp3 in local folder, the mp3 opens with Window Media. Good. when I click a link that goes to an mp3 inside internet explorer, i do not get a prompt to save the file, instead, the Quicktime plugin comes

Chinese input (IME) disables my keyboard on IE 7 but it (keyboard) works fine in MS Office,no matter switching between English & Chinese. Does IE7 not accept IME AND so disable the keyboard ??
