So, how come every time I download ie7 my Mozilla Firefox ceases to work and to get it to work again, I have to uninstall ie7? I would like to use ie7 occasionally for some things but for day to day web surfing it doesn't hold a candle to Firefox.

Im not sure when this changed, but I installed Vista today and all the updates I guess and now when I press the F3 key on my keyboard it brings up a small search box at the bottom of internet explorer, but what I NEED is for it to bring up the old search box popup panel.

Anybody know if it is actually possible to reinstall IE7 in Vista quickly and for a dummy!? I want to use Content advisor, but it wont let me login to my bank accounts if it is enabled. Apparently there is a newer version, which works with it,

I have used the purchased form of Gator for years=not spyware, etc. (I think!) but IE & thinks it is Spyware and I can not download use w/o it refusing access to Gator. Suggestions re. how to bypass-install IE 7 and also use Gator?

In IE7 .swf files do not play when "allow active content to run in files on my computer" is checked. There is an error "object expected" on the very first line. If I uncheck the setting they run fine, but then simple Javascript brings up

Whenever I type an address in the address bar without using www I get "windows cannot find '(name of site)' Please check the spelling and try again error. If i use the www it goes through. is there a way to correct that?
