How to go from IE 7 to IE 6.21 Nov 2007 23:15 GMT10
IE 7 makes it impossible to edit stuff in Norton Internet Security 2005.
You get Internet Explorer Script Error when you try.  There is apparently no
fix that doesn't involve editing code, which I am not comfortable, or able,
to do.

Internet Explorer & hangs at Customize your settings21 Nov 2007 22:21 GMT1
I installed IE7 a few days back. When I start it, it asks to customize
settings but hangs in http://runonce.msn.com/runonce2.aspx. Whe I click any
favourite, it opens the favourite page and starts working. It is very
annoying to see that customize window every time I start IE7. ...

Does Internet Explorer 7 now not require Windows product validation?
We have a Windows XP lab computer that for security reasons may not be connected to the
internet. I'd like to install IE7 on it, so we can test compatibility with reading hard

I think IE 7 is causing a Windows problem21 Nov 2007 18:53 GMT12
I hope someone can help with this issue as it's been going on over a year.
I had a Gateway computer on Windows XP Pro.  I upgraded IE to 7.0 about a
year ago, and shortly thereafter is when a strange problem began.
Occasionally and intermittently when the computer would boot up, ...

the PDF file as plain text, even if it's just a bunch of gibberish.

I just dumped Norton Internet Security 2005 and installed McAfee Security
