IE 7 makes it impossible to edit stuff in Norton Internet Security 2005. You get Internet Explorer Script Error when you try. There is apparently no fix that doesn't involve editing code, which I am not comfortable, or able, to do.

Does Internet Explorer 7 now not require Windows product validation? We have a Windows XP lab computer that for security reasons may not be connected to the internet. I'd like to install IE7 on it, so we can test compatibility with reading hard drive HTML docs.

Hi all, I was just wondering if there is any way to display the contents of a PDF file without swapping mshtml out and replacing it with Adobe's reader? I would like the browser to attempt to display the PDF file as plain text, even if it's just a bunch of gibberish.
