I have been seeing this problem with IE7 under Vista Ultimate. The roboform

How to stop IE 7 automatically creating Microsoft Favorites?16 Nov 2007 17:41 GMT8
This has been driving me NUTS since IE 4. Everytime a "new" user logs in, IE
creates a bunch of Favorites and Links to the Microsoft Sites.  Now with IE
4, it was a registry hack to get it to stop.
With IE 5 and 6 I edited the C:\Program Files\Internet

I delete them, but next time I start up they are recreated. Anyone know how
Links menu bar in IE716 Nov 2007 17:02 GMT3
I have been using IE7 since about the time it was made available.  In the
past few days, my links toolbar has started sitting on top of my menu bar,
making only the file portion of my menus available.  I unlock the toolbars
and slide the links bar down but after I open IE7 again ...
Maximize vertical screen space16 Nov 2007 16:53 GMT3
I'd like to be able to condense the top part of a IE7 window to just two
'rows' (instead of the current minimum of three), in order to see more of web
pages.
IE6 permitted the following two-row arrangement:
Homepage redirected to unauthorized page by IE.16 Nov 2007 16:45 GMT3
When I use the IE icon from my desktop, instead of going to the Homepage I

Which I since added to the restricted list in IE Security in an effort to
Same IE 7 HiJack Problem16 Nov 2007 15:51 GMT3
For whatever reason, opening IE 7 leads to this Microsoft site,

opening to MyYahoo!
If I have to unistall IE 7 to reinstall it, how do I do that?  Otherwise,

C:\WINDOWS\system32\config BAK files16 Nov 2007 15:13 GMT1
hello IT-friends, I have a question for you: is it possible and safe to
delete some of the BAK files (default_BAK, SAM_BAK, SECURITY_BAK,
software_BAK and system_BAK) in the system32\config folder? IThey have a
dimension of near 6GB!! The exact names are: default_BAK_76259, etc.
want IE7 to open maximized16 Nov 2007 14:01 GMT1
My IE7 has changed without my asking it to: instead of opening a new browser
maximized, it opens it in a "column" about one third the width of the screen.
Is there a setting somewhere that will allow me to change this?
Thanks in advance.
IE7 vs. IE616 Nov 2007 13:32 GMT1
Can I just uninstall IE7 and switch to IE6 with Windows Vista because that
