All has been well until the last few weeks. Both on my desktop and my laptop
IE7 has stopped then displayed the IE7 must close panel.
Details given are:
AppName: iexplore.exe

Ever since a recent update, I have been unable to get IE7 to work.  Everytime
I try to use it, DEP stops it running.  I have put IE7 on the exclusion list,
but it still happens. How can I resolve this (btw I'm using Firefox atm and I
have no such problems)

I would like to propose an option.
Would it be possible to type an new address in the address bar and when you
validate it, a new tab just come.
Instead of click on a new tab, type the address and validate, or type the

I searched quite a while for this issue but could find no other instance of it.
When I open IE 7.0 (running on XP MCE 2005 with SP2) Help and click on the
"Index" tab, IE 7.0 crashes.
The Event Viewer shows two errors (pasted below) that might be of use in

I have a strange problem in IE7: I cannot connect to any URL in IE. I
can ping correctly and connect to an IP address through IE, but no
URL. Other applications depending on the network connection work fine
(outlook, skype, etc.)

Every time I try to purchase tickets from Live Nation as I have done in the
past with no problem till I've updated to IE7... I get a page telling me I
need to
Activate Cookies ... I have tried EVERYTHING and still cant get it to work!

On my laptop IE works only when I am connected to my home Wi-Fi network
On the road, I have to use Firefox as IE refuses to connect to the internet.
Is this a setting I can change?

I followed all the Help page suggestions that applied. The registry checks do
not reveal any of the erros listed. I followed all the discussion group
suggestions that seemed to apply. I tried in Safe mode with Networking. I
completely removed (!) my anti-virus and spyware ...

I am currently running IE 7 on XP.  Recently I noticed that a Microsoft page
for IE 7 has hijacked my first tab.  It does not show up on the homepage
list.  I have sent Microsoft an email on this and have gotten no reply.  Here

I hate it.  I just uninstalled it from both my mother-in-law's and my
computer.  Why would you move the toolbar buttons to a different place when

2 of my usual website i log on to display at message saying lsp out of date,
but just yesterday i log on and it was fine. I don't know how to fix this
problem. Can someone tell me some solution to this problem?
