Our organization has just rolled out IE7 and we have noticed a difference in
the order that IE6 and IE7 handle an html page that has client script that
displays a message box.
Platform:  Windows Server 2003,  IIS 6, VS Studio 2003,  .NET Framework 1.1

The right click feature on my mouse becomes disabled after surfing the web
for a while.  It seems to work in all other programs (including on the
desktop) except Internet Explorer.  Also, once this occurs, when I left click
on any hyperlinks, they won't open.  The only solution ...

My laptop updated automatically last week.
Since then I can't reach certain websites and others don't behave properly.
All is ok if I use firefox.
I'm using XP home SP2.

I also can't add a web page into a specific favorites folder, only into the
general favorites folder.  If I open Internet Explorer as administrator, it
will work but you have to set IE as administrator every time you open it.  Is

When I click the red X to close out  the internet, Window pops up and says
the internet explorer has quit working and windows is trying check for a
solution, then a window pops up and says the Internet Explorer has stopped
working.  A problem has cause the program to stop working ...

I've just reinstalled XP Home on a brand new hard drive.  I also have done
ALL windows updates.  Now I cannot connect to my friend's profile.  IE7 says
it encountered an error and must shut down.  Sending to MS does not get a
reply.  How do I debug and fix.  Everything worked OK ...

I'm getting installation errors on IE7 that are fairly well-documented, i.e.
failure to complete with the following log messages:

my address bar website history with the arrow down button started loosing

Everytime I try to open IE (vista) I get an error message that DEP shut it
down.  How do I get around this?

I'm using IE7 with XP Pro SP2. There are times when some, but not all
hyperlinks, including those on an MS site, do not respond when I click on
them. They are circled with the dottted line when I click on them but nothing
further happens.

Help..begging.  I am on a new Gateway Laptop with Vista.  My only main
problem is typing within the IE environment.  The text  entry within
the online is arbitrary. In my G mail compose boxes; IM; GoogleTalk;
or anytype of box that requires sig text entry -- the thing goes
