IE process 'iexplore.exe' won't stop at shutdown.08 Nov 2007 15:14 GMT7
Something is keeping this process from stopping when I try to shutdown. I
have to manually stop it in task manager. There are no error messages. When
'shutdown' or 'restart' buttons are clicked, the computer simply keeps

Since my last MS Windows update, my IE7 starts fine, but when I close a
window, all windows close with and error message.  How can I prevent this?  I
hate having to keep re-starting IE7.

I use Outlook Express as my main email software.  When it prompts a
"compacting" I usually do it.  
this afternoon compacting was prompt and I clicked "ok".   I came back to

Have a new computer with XP and IE7 vs. 6. Trouble with tiny fonts pretty
much resolved, but IE7 shows overlapping text in lists and headings on web
sites, sort of like the frames overlap.The text is all scrunched together.
Any ideas for resolution appreciated.

I have a message that comes up sometimes when i am trying to open web pages
and it talks about an invalid character and an object expected?  What does
this mean or how can i get this message to stop poping up on the screen?
