Search assistant keeps changing from google.co.uk to google.com23 Jan 2008 22:28 GMT1
As per the title - I've set up google.co.uk to be my default search engine in
the search assistant, but it keeps reverting to google.com
I've tried both leaving google.com as another option and deleting it, but
either way the problem still persists.

I have allowed cookies on IE 7 yet when I use a survey the machine reports
that the browser does not support cookies or they are not turned on. Any
suggestions what to do to allow cookies.

I can`t seem to find an icon on the tool bar to check my windows mail from
within IE 7. I have to minimize IE 7 and then click on the windows mail icon
on my desktop. Is there a setting I am missing. Any help would be
appreciated!!

The new wide screen monitor causes text and pictures to be distorted. Is
there a way to adjust it when I am not watching video so that when working on
tyhe web or in a word processor, things appear normal? Thanks.

I close the menu bar but when I open a new tab it reappears. It also
reappears when I restart IE7. How can I make it stay closed?

When I log in, the top tool bar with the url address and the back arrow
becomes hidden. I have to scroll up to the top of the screen to have it
appear. How do I have it there all of the time?

When I drag & drop a .txt file into IE, it opens it successfully in the
browser.
Problem is that on some machines when I drag & drop a .log file (which is a
regular text file), it does not open inside the browser. If I configure .log

I have a server where I want to remove the printer icon from internet
explorer and have this setting applied for all users instead of just for
myself....how can i customise the toolbar so the removal of the printer

Neighbor's Compaq PC crashed. I did a quickrestore for him using an old
backup. However, when he LAST did a backup, he had worldnet.att.net as a
dialup ISP (and IE was provided by them on a CD). So, in IE if I click on
Help - then - Online Support, it brings me to att.net ...
