I am not always seeing the links displayed in the status bar when the mouse

I have a program which opens Internet pages in IE7. In Vista it opens
new pages in tabs of single IE. In XP it creates new IE window for
each page. "Open links from other programs" option in both cases set
to "New Tab".

just upgraded my IE to IE7, everything went ok but cannot access the
internet via it now.  Is there something I have to do, or something I have

I just downloaded Explorer 7 and now I do not have the "E" icon on my desktop
to click on to get on the internet.  It is also missing from the programs -
to get the internet I open up the microsoft update and that takes me to the

I have a new hp laptop running 64 bit Vista and 64 bit Explorer 7.   My
favorites are gone when I click to view them.  Adding new favorites seems to
work, but then when you open favorites, once again they are gone.  I still

I'm running IE7 and had imported favourites over but after a week or so they
have gone! They are visible in 'add a favorite' but not in 'Favorites' or
'organise favorites'. Can anyone help sort this out? It seems to have
happened spontaneously.

In IE6 and prior versions of Internet Explorer it is very easy
to move Favorites links between directories by holding the
left pointer and dragging the link to another directory
